Querida familia,
The new chapel will be dedicated April 9th and there will be an open house for three days before the dedication. There will be a ton of people that will go because it is the best chapel in Guarabira. President Hall told us that he wants at least 50 investigators in the dedication and I think we will be able to do it. Many, many people will be baptized. The members need to be ready to help the recent-converts become strong members, which will be difficult because they like to gossip and fight.
We are making a play with the branch that we will present the night before the dedication. The play is made up of a bunch of skits about the principles in "For the Strength of Youth" and songs about them too. It will be good.
This week they had a training for the leaders of the mission so I stayed in Mamanguape Monday night and Teusday. I stayed with an Elder Gomez, he only has a month in the field. I woke up at two in the morning becuase he was groaning in pain in his lower back. I gave him a blessing and called the other elders and they took him to the hospital where he recieved a shot of painkillers. They said it is probably a kidney stone or a urinary tract infection and now he has to go do some tests and stuff. I already put one elder in a wheel chair the MTC and now I spent one night with an elder and he had to go to the ER.
Gotta go
